Bradford White Will Donate Water Heaters To Habitat For Humanity

December 17, 2004

Bradford White Corporation, Middleville, MI – Bradford White Corporation, manufacturer of residential and commercial water heaters and Kent County’s largest employer has pledged 100 water heaters to Habitat for Humanity. Over the past 20 years, Habitat for Humanity of neighboring Kent County has built 158 homes for families in need. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that focuses its efforts on making home ownership available to families with income below 50% of the county’s median family income.

Eric Lannes, Bradford White’s Vice President of Manufacturing welcomed the opportunity to give back to the local Kent County community, “The chance to contribute to this worthy cause is just too good to ignore. Owning a home is a big part of the American dream. Helping families that otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to achieve that dream is a gift for all of us.”

The donated water heaters from Bradford White will be used for the “Building Today, Framing Tomorrow” campaign that has hopes of building 20 homes per year over the next five years. Bradford White is proud to be associated with Habitat for Humanity and their efforts to help make a better life for those in need.
