Bradford White Toys for Tots Donation

December 19, 2003

Recently Bradford White Corporation helped the Marine Corps bring holiday cheer to hundreds of children with a donation to the Toys for Tots campaign. Cpl Raymond Rhodes and Lcpl Joshua Haydt of Marine Air Group 49 out of Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove, PA traveled to Bradford White headquarters in early December to receive a donation of 220 die cast replica cars from Ted Sikorski, Vice President - Marketing. The cars were 1/24 scale miniatures of the Bradford White car that raced in the NASCAR circuit.

The Marines distributed the cars and another 75,000 toys prior to the 2003 holiday season to needy families in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, Pennsylvania. Ssgt James Kendrick, who coordinates the toy drive, was very happy to add the cars to their growing stock of toys. “Every year we hope new contributors find the time and the generosity to join us in our efforts to bring a little holiday cheer to those less fortunate. Having a company like Bradford White on board is very important to us and even more important to the kids. Remember, every child deserves a good Christmas.” said Kendrick.

“This is just a first step. Bradford White has been very fortunate over the years and we’re glad to lend our support to this worthy charity. Our hope is to increase our contribution to this program in the future and have industry associates join us in this effort,” said Vice President of Marketing Ted Sikorski.
