Bradford White is pleased to announce an important addition to our ultra high efficiency commercial gas water heater series.  We have added a 100-gallon, 399,999 BTU/hr input model to the eF Series® line.  The EF-100T-399E-3N compliments the existing 100-gallon commercial water heaters.  Now the gas inputs range from 150,000 up to 399,999 BTU/hr, with thermal efficiencies up to 99.1% for the 100-gallon models.

The EF-100T-399 has a thermal efficiency of 93% and can heat up to 451 gallons of water from 40°F to 140°F in an hour.  Combined with the stored volume of water, this gives over 521 gallons of 140°F water in the first hour.  The water heater’s dimensions are very similar to the other 100-gallon eF Series® water heaters (see the attached spec sheets for details) and has the same venting capabilities.  The EF-100T-399 can be vented vertically and horizontally with either 3" or 4" PVC, CPVC or ABS vent pipe.  As with the existing eF Series® water heaters, the EF-100T-399 is approved for unbalanced, direct vent closed combustions applications and power vented applications.

The EF-100T-399 features the three-pass flue system that allows for efficient heat transfer, along with our Low NOx premix power burner.  Electronic controls are used to provide a temperature range of 80° to 180°F and provide energy cut off in the event of an overheat condition.  The Vitraglas® lined tank incorporates two powered anode rods and one non-powered anode rod to help protect the heater from corrosion.  And the EF-100T-399 has the same three year warranty on the tank/one year warranty on parts as the other eF Series® water heaters.

The EF-100T-399 will be available in ASME and non-ASME construction and in both Natural Gas and Propane Gas inputs.  Please refer to the included spec sheet for more information.

In addition to the 100-gallon models, the eF Series® line is available in 60-gallon capacities with inputs of 125,000, 150,000 and 199,999 BTU/hr.
