Bradford White is pleased to announce the introduction of our new Residential AST Storage Tanks. The AST tanks are available in four sizes: 40, 50, 80, and 119 gallons. The old Aero AST storage tanks are now obsolete, which includes the 30, 70, and 115-gallon capacity models.

The AST Storage Tank has an adjustable surface mounted thermostat enabling hot water to be stored at a constant temperature ready for use during peak demand periods. All of the AST models are protected from the corrosive effects of hot water with our exclusive Vitraglas® lining. The Hydrojet® Total Performance System is also standard with all AST models along with 2 inches of Non-CFC foam insulation completely covering the side and top of the tank.

The ¾" Brass Drain valve on the AST models come equipped with a boiler return for applications utilizing hydronic heating systems.

The AST connections (Outlet, Boiler Supply, Boiler Return) for the 40, 50, and 80 gallon models are ¾", and the 119 gallon model has a 1" outlet, 1" Boiler Supply, and ¾" Boiler Return. A Circulator and Temperature Pressure Relief valve are not included with the AST Storage Tanks. We do recommend the use of a stainless steel or a bronze circulating pump and will be offering two circulating pumps (Part# 006-BC4- ½" sweat connections, Part # 006-HBT4- ¾" NPT connections) as optional service parts.

A six-year limited tank and parts warranty are standard for all AST models.
