EverHot® Tankless Water Heaters

Bradford White is pleased to announce the introduction of our new Tankless Residential Gas (IGI-180R-10N, IGE-199R-10N) and Commercial Gas (IGI-180C-5N, IGE-199R-5N) Water Heaters. The EverHot® lineup will consist of Indoor (IGI) and Outdoor (IGE) models that provide a continuous flow of hot water at a temperature you select while only operating when there is a call for heat. The EverHot models utilize a direct electronic ignition, rather than a standing pilot, to eliminate standby losses when there is no call for hot water. The dimensions of the EverHot models (9" Depth, 14" Width, 24" Height) will allow customers to install these units in various locations. The indoor models are Direct Vent units that are wall-hung and can be installed in small confined spaces like closets or utility rooms.

Venting

The Indoor models utilize a concentric vent pipe to provide combustion air to the appliance and to exhaust the products of combustion to the outside atmosphere (similar to our DS-1 and DH-1 venting style). The Indoor models have dedicated venting system components that must be ordered separately. The venting components are listed in the installation and operation manual for the indoor models and on the back of this bulletin. The Outdoor models are designed to be mounted on an outside wall with the supplied wall bracket without any venting system requirements. An optional recess box is available to conceal the piping behind a cover for a more attractive installation.

The EverHot burner and combustion blower are self-regulating with inputs up to 180,000 BTU’s for Indoor models and 199,000 BTU’s for Outdoor models. The outlet water temperature is adjustable from 96-160° for Residential models and 96-180° for Commercial models. The Indoor models have a primary control integrated into the face of the water heater while the Outdoor models are shipped with a separate primary control. Residential models can have two optional Bath controls that have a maximum temperature of 120 degrees. Commercial models can only use one controller. When installing multiple Everhot models together the primary control can be hardwired to operate up to 5 units. Multiple units piped together in parallel for Commercial applications have an electronic manifold control available as an option to control the sequence of operation of the units together (The optional control is necessary for this to occur).

The heat exchanger coil is provided with Anti-Freeze heaters for cold climate conditions for protection as low as -30°F. Solenoids should be installed to drain the water heater in the event of a power failure. (See manual for piping diagram)

The EverHot models are not recommended for Booster applications.

The Residential models have a 10 year limited heat exchanger warranty and 5 year limited parts. The Commercial models have a 5 year limited heat exchanger and parts warranty.
