Label Removal

Beginning with shipments in March of 2003 all residential and light duty commercial models will no longer have applied to the carton a “T&P Included” label.

The referenced label (238-41561-00), which is green with black marking, was originally introduced as standard on all models when we began to include a T&P relief valve in the first quarter of 2001. The label was applied to help distinguish between those models in inventory that had a T&P valve included to those that did not.

The change is only for the label removal, the water heaters will still be furnished with the T&P relief valve in accordance with ANSI Z21.10.1.
