Last year, we introduced a new 10 and 15 gallon model to our Residential Electric Utility product line. Due to customer request and analyzing competitive product offerings, we are adding similar models to our Light Duty Commercial Electric Utility product line. We will now offer a 10 gallon (LD-10U3-1) model and a 15 gallon (LD-15U3-1) model.

The main difference between the Residential Utility and the Light Duty Utility model, is a heavy gauge wiring harness that allows these models to be converted in the field to different wattages and voltages (conversion kits sold separately).

Conversion kits allow a customer to stock one heater, instead of multiple configuration models, thus saving valuable floor space and ordering time. So, when a customer requests a certain voltage and wattage, a conversion kit would allow for a quick conversion in the field. Conversion kits are available for all of our Light Duty Electric models.
