New Gas Valves for Residential and Commercial Water Heaters

Bradford White Corporation will be introducing new gas valves on certain residential and commercial gas powered water heaters.  The new gas valves will be manufactured by White Rogers and will be compatible to the components currently being used.

The new gas valves will have the same functionality as the current gas valves and will feature the reliable White Rogers thermocouple / pilot assemblies with greater millivolt output and a tight temperature differential.  The water heaters will retain the high energy Piezo spark igniter and will feature a new Piezo bracket that will minimize protrusion.

The new gas valves will be incorporated on our residential Energy Saver Gas Water Heaters (MI/M4/M1XR and M2XR), Direct Vent Water Heaters (DS1/DH1) and Mobile Home Water Heaters (M1MH/M1MS).  In addition to the residential heaters, the following related commercial water heaters will be equipped with White Rogers gas valves: Light Duty Atmospheric (50T/65T/75T/100T), and Direct Vent (DH) Water Heaters.

The White Rogers gas valves will also be used on our combination domestic hot water / space heating water heaters that will soon be released as the Combi2 heaters (model numbers C-DW2-504T10FBN/FCX and C-DW2-75T10BN/CX).  The Combi2 water heaters will use the 180°F max setting valve.
